SIFF 2011 Movies - the Plan

I used Google Docs to whittle down the movies on my "to watch" list. This post will just summarize the choices that I have made thus far. It is subject to change. If you want to see a specific movie with me, let me know ASAP, so I don't get all crazy and decide to go to a different movie. These are in order by day. (Note, that with my travel schedule and other things, there are gaps.) A better way to Travel

The trip home on Friday went so well, I felt no need to vent, so I am a few days late posting the events of the day. But today I did go to Zumba Class and I remembered why I feel like a square peg in the class made for circles. And it reminds me that somewhere in How to be a Girl 101, I missed the booty shake class and the body roll class. Oh I am made of so much fail in that class. Anywhoo.. back to Friday. The 2:30 was delayed till 2:45, so I asked to move up to the earlier flight and so did CF (Cycling Fan), CF and I even were able to sit together and mock the Air Mall for the full 45 minutes. I never realized ...

Travel- it ain't that easy

A few friends have suggested that I write a travel blog of my adventures in Business Travel.. I thought.. it can't be that exciting.. and here I am .. yeah I guess be careful what you wish for because the universe will smack you upside the head and call you Shirley. Today was my first day traveling to Baton Rouge for work. Things so far have not gone to plan. I had to leave home a few hours early, because I had a series of conference calls that would cross over that 2 hour before flight mark, and I knew I had to get through security, without being in the middle of a conference call. So, after call 1 ended, I had 10 mins to get through security and hop on call #2. When I went through the handy new body scanners, the chick at TSA had me drop my ID in the box with my shoes and plastic bags of liquids. After they scanned my hands and my coffee cup for explosives, I was free to head off to call # 2. I had call #2 and then once that was over, I had 15 mins to hop on call #3, I decid...
